Bush Praises Singapore As a Model Asian Nation

Fox News reported today that Bush
praised Singapore as a model for the rest of Asia. He said the prime minister's advice makes it "easier to conduct wise foreign policy."
President Bush seemed to regret the recent defeat of his party in the mid-term elections. He probably was thinking that if he had the Singapore system in place in the US, all those critics would have no chance. And when Bush attacked Iraq and he had everyone behind him, he really conducted "wise foreign policy," so wise that even after the so-called "victory" the "final throes of the insurgency" reveal a destabilized country in which violence is rampant. Was this such a wise decision, Mr. President? Was the oil in Iraq worth the price?

On a final note, it's a pity Bush did not read this open letter.
